The World Economic Forum has identified women as the fastest-growing economic force in the world. Forum Co-Chair Lois Nahirney moderated “Tackling the Diversity Challenge” with Michelle Osry (Deloitte), Jay Dilley (Hawkair), and Joe Oliver (RBC)

“Values are not aspirations, they are needs. We need diversity.” said Michelle, and we couldn’t agree more! Jay Dilley also brought attention to mentorship and how important it is for a business owner to have at least one hour, once-a-month meetings with a trusted advisory board to talk about your business, economical and personal goals. To grow your business, you need a board of directors to listen, give you insight, and direct you towards your goals.

It was refreshing and inspiring to meet leaders in our province who are making steps to help women become leaders and successful entrepreneurs.
