CEO and Founder Teresa Ging holds a degree in Economics/Statistics from the University of Chicago and a Patisserie Certificate from Le Cordon Bleu. With over 6 years of finance experience in investment banking, private equity, and equity research, she launched Sugar Bliss catering and delivery in 2007. In January 2009, the first Sugar Bliss retail location opened downtown Chicago.

Sugar Bliss is a woman and minority-owned retail bakery. Since 2007, it has been offering a wide array of baked goods, catering services, and corporate gifts for businesses and corporate events. Sugar Bliss caters to Fortune 100 companies, including major financial services, healthcare, marketing, and law firms. The bakery prepares everything on-site, using only the finest ingredients like European Cocoa, Nielsen Massey Vanilla, and real fruits. Additionally, Sugar Bliss has a social mission to donate 10% of their proceeds to support women and minority entrepreneurs as well as wildlife conservation.
