I know you have heard it all before but you have only got 30 seconds to get someone’s attention — so CREATE THEN PRACTICE a clear concise and INTERESTING Elevator Speech about who you are, what you do, and most importantly, what makes you unique or different.
I have never met anyone who doesn’t have a great story to tell – but most people either don’t know what it is, or how to tell it to grow their business, profile, brand and reputation.
Here’s a Quick Tip. Start the sentence with how you HELP your client or customer, such as, what I say — “I help people create and communicate the story of their success.” The response is usually, “wow, that’s different. Tell me more about that.”
